USAToday: Midwest, move over: Ga. joins the ethanol gold rush.
"Only 6 million cars, called "flex-fuel," can run on ethanol or gasoline. Car companies have pledged to make half their fleet flex-fuel by 2012." Savings? "Also, E85, on average, costs 13% less per gallon than gasoline, but it reduces mileage by as much as 25%."

Since 1999, companies from the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) have raised over One Billion Dollars in venture capital. In 2006, 10 of the top 25 largest venture capital deals in Georgia – including the two largest – went to ATDC companies, representing 21% of investments in Georgia.
